Our Mission
With the ever-increasing complexity of our society, it is critical that our nation have an informed, responsible, and contributing community. American Historic Services employs facts, concepts, generalizations, and skills of history including the social sciences to promote responsible citizenship. All of our programs share a central theme, which is to help all American’s develop the ability to critically think and make informed and reasonable decisions for the public good as citizens of a culturally diverse, democratic society in an interdependent world.
We design our education programs for students of all ages and take in for consideration the unique and complex individuals, who are the learners. All students regardless of age bring personal ideas, attitudes, and skills into the classroom. They share many common experiences and similarities, but often very different cultural values. Both similarities and differences in all students are always amply considered in order to best address the learners’ needs.
We are confident that the efforts and services provided through AmHisS will be paramount in educating not only our nations youth, but will also teach the public the importance of America’s significant accomplishments.
